TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Centralis Health, a leading health information exchange provider, today announced the launch of a new consulting division focused on population health management. The company has appointed Kandi O’Brien, CPME, as director of the new division.
“As the industry shifts from a fee-for-service model to value-based payment model, we wanted to help our health care customers navigate the changes and provide solutions that help them manage and mitigate the risks associated with reimbursement policies,” said Zach Finn, CEO of Centralis Health. “Our new population health consulting services division will work with customers to help build a performance-focused, value-based infrastructure that continues to optimize a patient’s care and experience.”
Centrails Health (formerly HIE Networks) hired health care compliance expert and Certified Practice Management Executive (CPME) Kandi O’Brien to lead the new division. “The decision to join Centralis Health was easy,” said O’Brien. “The company’s long history of innovation and success, coupled with its commitment to customer care and service, matched my own values. I’m thrilled to join the team and lead this new initiative.”
Prior to joining Centralis Health, O’Brien practiced as an independent healthcare consultant for nine years, working with both established and startup health care corporations, as well as accountable care organizations (ACO) and fee-for-service (FFS) and full risk practices. O’Brien’s specialties include URAC and NCQA Credentialing and expertise in worker’s compensation, utilization management, interventional cardiology, oncology, urgent care, occupational health, wound care, ENT, dental care, obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics, urology, and psychology.
“Kandi is the perfect person to lead our new population health services division.
